In just a few months the Great American Beer Festival (GABF) will be back in Denver, bringing together the largest collection of U.S. brewers and beers for a private competition and public tasting. This year’s festival will take place September 24 through September 26, 2015, at the Colorado Convention Center. Mark your calendars now, and start making plans to be at the fest.
Why You Need to Attend GABF
GABF is the premier U.S. beer festival, and the 2015 fest promises to be the best and most beer-filled festival ever. The festival is expanding to add another wing of the Colorado Convention Center, allowing GABF to feature more breweries and beer than ever before. The 2015 festival plans to host 830 breweries and serve upwards of 4000 beers, all in 1-ounce sample pours, of course. It’s a beer lovers paradise!

2015 GABF Ticket Sale Dates
Getting a ticket to the Great American Beer Festival isn’t always easy. Tickets sell out fast, usually they’re all gone within hours. If you’re planning on attending this year’s festivals you should plan on buying your tickets the moment they go on sale or you may be stuck buying expensive after-market tickets, if you can get one at all. All ticket sales will be through Ticketmaster. Tickets will go on sale on the following days & times:
Member Pre-Sale: July 28, 10:00 am MT
General Public Sale: July 29, 10:00 am (MT)
Member pre-sale is available for active members of the Brewers Association or the American Homebrewers Association. You must purchase your membership by 12:00 am PT on July 19th to be eligible for the GABF member pre-sale. Active members will receive a personal offer code to use to purchase tickets.
There is a limit of 2 tickets per member number for the Members Only session, and 4 tickets per ticket buyer for all other sessions.
Volunteering at GABF
If you’re local, a great way to experience the Great American Beer Festival without purchasing a ticket is by signing up to be a volunteer. We have volunteered in several different capacities for the past 5 years, and it’s an incredible experience to take part in this event. New volunteers are typically invited to sign up through current volunteers, so if you know someone who already helps out with GABF that can help you get you foot in the door. For general volunteer information visit the GABF website.
