May Beer Fests and Events

Happy May Day! We hope you are having a fun day singing, eating cake and dancing around the maypole! No, you’re not doing any of that? Well, neither are we. But we are still excited that it’s finally May! This month means the snow should finally be giving way to warm and sunny spring days. Plus, there’s plenty of May beer fests, holidays and events to keep you busy this month!

We know that you probably don’t need a reason to drink, but we have some for you anyway. We’ve gathered for you more than a dozen great events and reasons to celebrate this month. Enjoy!

May Brings So Many Reasons to Drink…

There are almost too many reasons to celebrate in May! There are so many fun events happening that some difficult decisions will need to be made. The first weekend of May brings us Star Wars Day (May the 4th, duh), plus Cinco De Mayo (May 5, of course) and Kentucky Derby Day (May 6th). This month we’ll also be celebrating Mother’s Day (May 12). You can find a number of celebrations for each of these days at breweries all over the state. Follow our Event page on Facebook to see all the great events in one spot. Just know that you still have the tough job of deciding which ones to attend. May the force be with you!

May Beer Anniversaries

Judging by the several anniversary parties this month, May is a popular time to open a brewery. Below is just a list of the celebrations we know about so far. More will likely be announced as the month goes on. Better pace yourself.
