Happy July everyone! Today marks the start of one of our favorite months of the year. July is the perfect month for backyard barbecues, fun outdoor activities, and celebrations with family and friends. Plus it’s the month we celebrate America with patriotic explosions in the sky. Who doesn’t love that?! In Colorado July is hella hot, but that doesn’t bother us. In fact the scorching hot weather is the perfect excuse to enjoy some cold craft beer. Fortunately, there is plenty of great summer beers to enjoy. There’s also tons of fun summer beer fests to choose between this month! With so much happening, it can be tough deciding which to attend. Today we highlight a few of the July beer fests and events we’re most excited about this month. Maybe we’ll bump into you at one?

Independence Day Weekend Specials
July 1 – July 4
America deserves more than one day of celebration, which is why we plan on celebrating our Independence from now through July 4th. A lot of Colorado breweries are doing the same, by offering great summer special releases and taproom parties, all to help you celebrate the USA with fun, friends, and beer. A few breweries with specials lined up include 38 State Brewing, Cerberus Brewing, 105 West Brewing Co, Two22 Brew, The Post Brewing, Elk Mountain Brewing, plus many more. Proclaim your independence at your local brewery, or just grab a couple of growlers to enjoy at your backyard bash. Celebrate your freedom from boring beer!
21st Annual Biergarten Festival
July 7 – July 9

The Biergarten Festival returns to Morrison again this year, offering traditional German food, entertainment, live music, dance groups and of course plenty of great German beer! 21st Annual Brewer’s Rendezvous
July 8, 1 p.m. – 5 p.m.
The 21st Colorado Brewers Rendezvous takes place at Riverside Park in historic downtown Salida, surrounded by soaring mountains and hugged by the Arkansas River. The event features over 75 Colorado breweries serving samples of over 300 beers. Enjoy live music and great food vendors while sipping your favorite beers. Presented by the Salida Chamber of Commerce, this is a classic Colorado summer beer fest not to be missed! | Event Page
Great Divide’s 2017 Block Party
Saturday, July 8, 2 p.m. – 6 p.m.
The Square on 21st, 2062 Larimer Street, Denver
Great Divide is getting back to its laid-back roots with a summer block party at the Square on 21st Street, a newly created urban green space on 21st Street between Larimer & Lawrence. This will be a relaxed summer affair, featuring music, lawn games and plenty of delicious beer. Breckenridge Summer Beer Festival

The 12th Annual Breckenridge Summer Beer Festival is one of the premiere summer events in Breckenridge each year. The festival hosts more than 40 breweries all pouring their best beers. Denver Summer Brew Fest

The Denver Summer Brew Fest celebrates craft beverages from around Colorado and beyond. If you like heavy metal (and who doesn’t?) then you have to stop by the Heavy Metal Flea Market at Black Sky Brewery. This is not your typical market! Find great metal inspired attire, jewelry, music, art, and more, all from local vendors. And like most things, shopping is best when you add beer.
