Ska Brewing makes some damn fine beers. One of our favorite summer brews has always been Ska’s Mexican Logger. Today we were excited to learn that Ska Brewing has just released their latest Mod Project seasonal offering, Tart Mexican Logger.
Tart Mexican Logger is the tarty cousin of Mexican Logger. It’s a blended sour, brewed with lemons, lime and sea salt. It sounds like a great beer to sip on the patio during the dog days of summer. Tart Mexican Logger is available in 12-ounce cans and 6-packs throughout Colorado. It has an ABV of 5.2%.
Ska’s Mod Project brewery is a small, innovative brewery that opened last spring at the Ska World HQ in Durango. The expanded Mod Project facility allows Ska’s group of brewers – we call them the “mod scientists” – to produce new seven-barrel batches of blended and experimental offerings, often infused with local fruits. The first Mod Project Brewery release was Pink Vapor Stew Sour Ale, released earlier this year. Pink Vapor Stew is one of our favorite new beers this year, so we’re stoked to try the Tart Mexican Logger.
