The 5th Annual Collaboration Beer Fest is returning to downtown Denver on Saturday, March 31. More than just a beer festival, the Collaboration Fest is a fun celebration of the unique camaraderie that craft breweries share. It’s one of our most anticipated festivals each year and one that we don’t think you should miss!
The 5th Annual Collaboration Fest
This year’s festival promises to offer over 100 rare and delicious collaboration brews made by more than 150 breweries. Each beer collaboration features at least one brewery member of the Colorado Brewers Guild working with one or more other breweries, including breweries both inside and outside of Colorado. The result of this teamwork is some tasty one-of-a-kind brews made just for this event.

New for the 2018 Collaboration Fest
This year the festival takes place in the heart of downtown Denver at the Hyatt Regency Denver. It promises to be a sleek and classy place to enjoy some brews, even when filled will bearded brewers and beer geeks! Best of all, its walking distance to Light Rail and easily accessible by Lyft or Uber. Festivals like this are always best enjoyed when you can imbibe freely, knowing you have a safe ride home.
Also. new this year, the Collaboration Fest will be putting your brewing skills to the test. The Collaboration Fest site has a teaser for a surveyed, one-of-a-kind beer created for the people, by the people. Details are coming soon, so watch CollaborationFest.com for more information.

2018 Collaboration Fest Brew Days
Last year we were fortunate enough to attend a few of the collaboration brew days and boy was it was a blast! We saw a dozen plus breweries come together to collaborate on a rye beer at The Brew on Broadway. We watched as the Little Machine Beer & Joyride Brewing collab was blessed, literally. We also stopped by our local favorite brewery on a snowy morning to watch 105 West Brewing Company collaborate on a brew with the awesome team from Chain Reaction Brewing. It was great fun watching these beers get made. We hope to attend a few more brew days as beers are made for this year’s festival. When we do, you know we’ll share the stories with you here.
Sadly, our day jobs won’t allow us to make it to every brew day. Fortunately, the Collaboration Fest blog offers us a chance to check out the stories behind lots of the brews being made this year. When all the projects are finalized they’ll even publish the full pour list, so you can drool about what you’ll get to try in advance of Collab Fest day. It’s a great way to make a pre-festival plan of attack so you don’t miss out on any of your favorite styles of brew.
NOW is the time to get your Collab Fest tickets!
