There’s no shortage of celebrities trying to sell us booze. But the (fake) viral marketing campaign sent out yesterday for Aviation American Gin is enough to make us want to fork over our hard-earned cash for a bottle of the hooch. And that’s saying a lot, considering one of us isn’t even allowed to drink gin anymore. (Don’t worry, he knows why.)
Ryan Reynold’s Hilariously Bad Slogans for Aviation American Gin
The message arrived in my inbox as an email from Ryan Reynolds so you know I dropped everything to check it out. What I found was an (fake) email communication between Ryan and someone named Bruce at Aviation American Gin. The email came, allegedly, because he accidentally hit “reply all” to an email from Bruce about a recent marketing shoot that went horribly wrong…

Congratulation, Ryan Reynolds, your pretend reverse psychology worked! Saying the footage was so horrible it should be removed from existence before not-so-accidentally including the video link in your email? Genus. Pure, evil genius.
And the video is priceless. Check it out:
Seriously, we could watch this all day.
Is anyone else feeling thirsty for a gin & tonic?

P. S. There’s several more funny videos on the Aviation American Gin website. Mix yourself up a Tom Collins and check them out.

Yeah, got this in my email yesterday. I thought it was spam at first. Turned out to be the best “spam” I’ve ever received. 🙂
