Keeping Calm & Carrying Out

Checking In Hi friends, how is everyone doing? No, seriously… how are you? Are you hanging in there? We know that it’s a weird time in the world and we sincerely hope that you are doing well. Us? We’re doing okay, and really can’t complain too much, even though we do it anyway. For us, waking up each day is like pulling the lever of a slot machine and seeing which random lineup of emotions […]

Where Do We Even Begin?

I’ve written and rewritten this post in my head every day this week, but always got stuck on how to start it out. It feels disingenuous to write the same old lighthearted beer stories. Yet, it feels out of character for us to get too serious. But you know what? These are serious times, so be warned – this shit may get real. We normally like to tell the stories of the fun we’re having, […]

Ales, Apps & Barrels of Fun – It Was All That & Then Some

Last night we were guests at Ales, Apps, & Barrels of Fun, and as the name suggests, we had a barrel full of fun! We’ve been fans of this event, held annually at the Children’s Museum of Denver at Marsico Campus, since it’s inception in 2018. This night of adults-only fun at the Children’s Museum is truly one of our favorite events of the year! And what’s not to love? They encourage you to let […]

Our 2020 Vision

Happy 2020 everyone! We hope you had a wonderful, fun, and relaxing holiday season. We sure did… with emphasis on the relaxing part. Mid-week holidays kept us from doing anything too exciting, so we enjoyed doing nothing over the holidays. Nada. We didn’t even go out and make a spectacle of ourselves for New Year’s Eve. Instead, we watched the ball drop in NYC from our couch, and we were eye-shut long before midnight in […]

Happy Holidays

From Our House to Yours…

2019 has been filled with great brews and big beer news, but today we’re not here for that. In fact, we’ve taken much of this month off from Bottle Makes Three to celebrate the season. We hope you’ve had a chance to slow down and enjoy the holidays with your friends and family, too. However, on this day before Christmas, we wanted to take a quick moment to thank you for supporting us and wish […]

Colorado Breweries Win Big at the 2019 Great American Beer Festival

The 2019 Great American Beer Festival (GABF) has wrapped, and what a great festival it was! While all we have to show for the fest are great memories, 283 breweries took home much cooler souvenirs from GABF in the form of gold, silver, and bronze medals. Our local breweries made sure many of those medals stayed in Colorado, winning a total of 40 medals during this year’s competition.
