After nearly 5 years as one of Denver’s finest homebrew shops and neighborhood craft breweries, CO-Brew announced they’ll be closing up shop. The announcement was made on their Facebook page on Friday. CO-Brew named downtown Denver’s rising rents along with the decline in the homebrew industry as reasons why they won’t be renewing their lease.
It’s sad news for lovers of craft beer, pizza, and Colorado’s first CBD beer. Jonathan Shikes at the Denver Westword is reporting that Dad & Dude’s Breweria has closed. According to the article, Dad & Dude’s Breweria announced the closure last weekend, and Sunday, October 20 was their last day of business.
The 2019 Great American Beer Festival (GABF) has wrapped, and what a great festival it was! While all we have to show for the fest are great memories, 283 breweries took home much cooler souvenirs from GABF in the form of gold, silver, and bronze medals. Our local breweries made sure many of those medals stayed in Colorado, winning a total of 40 medals during this year’s competition.
Even in a state with countless incredible cities and towns, Pagosa Springs, Colorado is a special place. It’s nestled in the heart of the San Juan Mountain range, surrounded by national forest land, and home to the world’s deepest geothermal hot spring aquifer. In short, Pagosa Springs is an excellent location for all types of Colorado adventures. It’s also home to one of our favorite Colorado brewpubs: Pagosa Brewing Company.

Still, we think Great Falls it the perfect place for your next beercation. Hear us out… We visited Great Falls this summer for the Beer Now Conference […]
There’s no shortage of celebrities trying to sell us booze. But the (fake) viral marketing campaign sent out yesterday for Aviation American Gin is enough to make us want to fork over our hard-earned cash for a bottle of the hooch. And that’s saying a lot, considering one of us isn’t even allowed to drink gin anymore. (Don’t worry, he knows why.)
Without any doubt, sparkling water has been the drink of the summer. Whether they are standard or spiked, it seems like everyone is releasing a brand of sparkling water. However, too few of the bubbly new options stand out from the crowd. At least, that’s how we felt until we were introduced to Present CBD-Infused Sparkling Water, the latest offering from Left Hand Brewing Company and WAAYB Organics.

Since today is National Cheesecake Day, you hereby have our permission to indulge. You know that we had to find a way to bring our love of cheesecake together with our love […]
