Next week we’ll be heading to the East Coast to attend our 4th Beer Bloggers & Writers Conference. This year the event is being held in Loudoun County, Virginia, with excursions that offer experiences in Maryland, Delaware, and Richmond, Virginia. It’s an incredible time, and although we wish we could bring y’all with us in our suitcase but sadly, we can’t. (Blame the airlines and their crazy luggage fees.) Fortunately, you CAN experience the fun […]
Don’t call it a comeback, because the brewery culture never left Milwaukee. That was our takeaway from the 2017 Beer Bloggers and Writer’s Conference in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Mark Garthwaite, Executive Director of the Wisconsin Brewers Guild made that reference when discussing the local beer industry. Sure, they may be late bloomers when it comes to putting a craft brewery on every corner, especially when compared to a state like Colorado. However, nobody can dispute that […]
There is less than a month before the 2016 Beer Bloggers and Writers Conference (BBC) storms the shore of Tampa Bay, much like the pirates who invade by ship each year during Gasparilla. If you’ve been to the conference before, we don’t have to tell you what a fun trip this will be. If you haven’t, well, we’ve written before about how incredible the BBC is and I’m sure this year will be no different. If you write about beer in […]
There are over 3000 breweries operating in the United States, with more opening nearly every day. While they all certainly have their individual merits, there are only a handful breweries that can be considered true tourist destinations. During last month’s trip to Asheville for the Beer Bloggers & Writers Conference, we were able to visit one of these destination breweries: Sierra Nevada in Mills River.
This past Monday we returned from the 2015 Beer Bloggers and Writers Conference in Asheville. We came home from North Carolina with suitcases full of beer and volumes of incredible stories, the latter of which we’ll be sharing with you over the upcoming days and weeks. However, we wanted to waste no time bringing you our Live Beer Blogging recap, since this is the event that we’re most often asked about when we’re discussing the conference.
Hey everyone! Exciting news… your Bottle Makes Three team is on the road in beautiful and beer-filled North Carolina! We’re invading the Tar Heel State this week for the 2015 Beer Bloggers and Writers Conference and we could not be more excited!
Look out Asheville! In just a few months a group of wild and rascally beer bloggers and writers will be making our way to your town. While we’re there we will do our best to drink through your local beer supply, and we’ll probably bog down your neighborhood Wi-Fi with our posts, tweets, and Instagrams. In return, we’ll be happy to spend our hard-earned cash on brewery tee shirts and beer, and most importantly, we […]
Saturday in San Diego at the 2014 Beer Bloggers Conference Saturday started bright and early, with coffee instead of beer. We had a full agenda on Saturday including some great sessions about blogging, photography, and ethics. We learned a ton, but I’m sure that’s not what you want to hear about. You probably want to know about the booze-filled events, right? Well here you go:
Last post we told you about the fun and adventures we had just getting to the 2014 Beer Bloggers Conference (BBC14), before any real business took place. Today we want to tell you about the highlights of our first day of the conference. Spoiler alert: we had more beer.
If you have been keeping tabs on your Bottle Makes Three team on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram, you may have noticed that we were away last week. We were off to San Diego for the 2014 Beer Bloggers Conference where we picked up some blogging tips, made new friends, and drank some great beer. A lot of beer. Seriously, a helluva lot of beer. It all started when we arrived in California on Thursday. Queue the […]
So last week, quietly and without any fanfare, we posted our 100th blog post on Bottle Makes Three. I guess it’s time to admit that we’re bloggers. We are like legit, for real bloggers.
