This weekend Renegade Brewing Company opened the doors of their new production facility and invited the public to tour their new space. We took this opportunity to stop by both Renegade locations to discuss the big opening, and have some Renegade brews.
The Second Annual Collaboration Fest will be returning to Denver as the headline event of 2015 Colorado Craft Beer Week on Saturday, March 21, 2015. We attended the first Collab Fest last year, and it was such fun that we have high hopes for this second version. You should probably get your tickets now so you don’t miss out.
Call it sour grapes, but here in Denver, we’re not feeling the Super Bowl spirit this year. Since our Broncos got kicked out of the playoffs embarrassingly early, we’re still feeling a little deflated. [Insert your own clever New England #deflategate pun here.]

In our last post, we visited the Anheuser-Busch Brewery in Fort Collins. Sure, visiting the big beer maker was interesting, but no visit to Fort Collins is complete without checking out their incredible craft beer scene. In previous trips, we’ve already visited New Belgium Brewing, Odell Brewing, and Fort Collins Brewing Co. This time we decided to get through a few more new, or new to us, craft brewing spots. We know what you’re thinking and, yes, we normally prefer our brewery quite a bit craftier. But one day we hope to succeed at visiting every brewery in Colorado, and every brewery includes the big ones. We decided on a whim to scratch this one off our list.
A new year-round session IPA will be hitting the shelves this month, this one from New Belgium Brewing: Slow Ride IPA. Slow Ride IPA features a blend of hops that include Target, Cascade, Centennial, Mosaic, and Nelson Sauvin. The blend is said to give this beer a tropical and fruity aroma of melon, peach, lime, and grapefruit, with a similar flavor profile and well-balanced bitter finish with 40 IBUs.

We attended our first Beer Bloggers Conference, which has helped us find our voice and understand our role in the craft beer community. We’ve focused on bringing you more interesting content, and while we still have a ways to go to reach […]
