12 Colorado breweries were awarded 21 medals from the 2019 U.S. Open Beer Championship earlier this month in Oxford, Ohio. This year the annual beer competition received over 7000 beers in 130 different styles for judging, with entries coming from throughout the United States and beyond.
The 2017 Great American Beer Festival (GABF) competition concluded on Saturday. While we gather our thoughts and notes to bring you some proper recaps, we wanted to take a moment to celebrate all the Colorado breweries who received a medal at this year’s GABF competition.
The U.S. Open Beer Championship took place this past weekend and Colorado breweries brought home a total of 19 medals. This international competition accepted more than 4000 beers from more than 20 countries across the globe, including submissions from both professional breweries and award-winning home-brewers.
