On Saturday, January 3rd Jeff and I ventured into the belly of the beast: We embarked on the Budweiser Tour at Anheuser-Busch in Fort Collins. We know what you’re thinking and, yes, we normally prefer our brewery quite a bit craftier. But one day we hope to succeed at visiting every brewery in Colorado, and every brewery includes the big ones. We decided on a whim to scratch this one off our list.
Okay, not really. But who could resist an Almost Famous quote whenever you get the chance to drop one? And while neither of us is a Golden God per se, we did recently visit Golden, Colorado and had a heavenly time exploring the city and touring the Coors Brewery.
The second stop on our Fort Collins birthday weekend tour: New Belgium Brewing Company, baby! We were supposed to be here for my birthday last year, but a blizzard kept us away. We scheduled this tour months ago and thankfully, the weather was perfect this time around. Score!
