Hey everyone! Exciting news… your Bottle Makes Three team is on the road in beautiful and beer-filled North Carolina! We’re invading the Tar Heel State this week for the 2015 Beer Bloggers and Writers Conference and we could not be more excited!
Last year we attended our first Beer Bloggers and Writers Conference in San Diego and it was incredible. We learned a lot, we drank a lot, and we met some amazing people. This year looks to be just as exciting, and our schedule over the next few days is jam-packed with interesting educational sessions and incredible beer events. It hasn’t even started yet and we already can’t wait to come home and tell you all about it.
Some of the events we’re most looking forward to at BBC15 are the pre-conference excursion tour of the Raleigh craft beer scene, a visit to Colorado’s own Oskar Blues Brewing’s new North Carolina location, dinner and a tour at the new Sierra Nevada facility in Mills River, and the keynote speech from New Belgium Brewing co-founder and CEO Kim Jordan. That, and all the beer. SO MUCH BEER. Oh our poor livers, they have no idea what’s in store for them…

You don’t have to wait until we get home to get the scoop on all the news and events of BBC15. You can follow us on social media, where we’ll be giving live updates of the conference, events, breaking news and more. Follow all our shenanigans on our Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and other social sites. You can view updates from all attendees by searching for the hashtag #BBC15. Trust us, these tweets can get super-entertaining after a long day of drinking, you don’t want to miss them.
For more information on what happens at a Beer Bloggers & Writers Conference, check out our updates from last year’s BBC14 in San Diego. There was so much happening we had to break it into three parts:
BBC14 Recap Part 1
BBC14 Recap Part 2
BBC14 Recap Part 3
We’ll be back next week with stories from our trip just as soon as we get home and recover. Have a great rest of your week!
Cheers!
Chris & Jeff
P.S.: If you’re a tech-savvy criminal who thinks you can triangulate our home address and burgle us while we’re gallivanting around North Carolina drinking beer, I have bad news for you. First, we have nothing worth stealing since we spend all our money on beer. Second, we have a kick-ass home/cat sitter who is pretty much a ninja, and who knows where we keep the shotgun. If you even think about messing with our stuff, she will TAKE YOU OUT.
